Measles was, at one stage, eradicated from the UK but we are now seeing an increase in this highly infectious disease.
Some parents may have recently received a letter from the NHS regarding their child's immunisations not being up to date. Some of these letters were sent in error so we would ask that you check your child's red book or the NHS App before contacting the surgery regarding the status of your child's immunisation history.
