Repeat Prescription Ordering
In order to maximise efficiency, we will be centralising our repeat prescription service from 1st August 2022.
All prescriptions will be processed by our dedicated prescription clerks at our Hanham Surgery.
You should not see any change to the way in which you collect your medication as all requests will be sent electronically to the pharmacy that you have nominated.
Prescriptions can still be ordered in the following way:
1. Electronically via Online Services if you are registered (this maybe the NHS App or another provider such as Patient Access).
2. Over the telephone with a local pharmacy (please check your pharmacy of choice offers this service).
By posting your repeat slip into the post boxes located at either our Oldland or Hanham surgeries.
Once received, all orders will be issued within the expected timescale of 2 working days.
Please note, however, that if you order with a local pharmacy you will need to allow additional time for the prescription to be passed to us for processing as has always been the case.
It is therefore important to ensure you always have an adequate supply of your medication and provide the correct notice when placing an order.
